Water Crossing Notes: Streams high but all can be crossed with little difficulty

Trail Maintenance Notes: Some blowdowns; Crescent Ridge Trail between Crescent and Randolph blazes rare; with fresh snow on the ground and with lots of moose paths, trail difficult to follow in sections

Dog-Related Notes: Great hike for dogs, with plenty of open water crossings for fresh water

Comments: Bushwhack to N. Randolph: From the shoulder of N. Randolph on trail, as the trail begins to descend off of the shoulder of N. Randolph, head into open woods about N. 20 about 1/4 mile to find the jar hanging from a tree.
