| Comments: |
Nice late fall hike to Blueberry Mtn. 2-3 inches of fresh snow was easy to bareboot hike today.
Brought spikes but snow was too sticky and snowballing underfoot was a problem so bareboot it was.
Lots of animal tracks everywhere...looked like coyote, bear, deer/moose, and snowshoe hare. More
difficult to follow the trail closer to summit, limited blazing on trees near the ledges so watching
carefully for the small cairns was necessary. Limited views to nearby summits tday due to early morn'
low hanging clouds. Quiet and Peaceful hike. TYB for another 52wav hiking adventure in west NH. |
