Comments
Comments: This was a "Plan C" hike put together based on redline goals of several of us. Steve helped with a shuttle, making it easier to hike the Deer Hills today. We began on Deer Hill Road, hiking to the Spring > Ledges > Deer Hill lollipop loop. Then a few left, and a couple of us continued, hiking Little Deer loop, and north via Leach Link back to a waiting car.

Snow is thin, and the hike was largely bare-bootable. There were a couple of sections (mostly near the ledges) where we used light traction due to steepness and ice. Fairly easy and enjoyable hike.

Animal tracks galore today: deer, coyote, fox, porcupine... very busy area.

Nice day out with Steve, Skipper, Dave U., Sandy P., Marion & Clint.
