Maya came along, although she wasn't too happy at the top and on the way down. A little too cold for her liking! |

| Comments: |
Increasing amounts of snow starting from the bottom as trace amounts to enough to snowshoe at somewhere around 3,500 feet. There really wasn't any ice so I chose to go without Micros (mine have been acting up with my new boots) and only added traction when I put the snows on. Although they were definitely not necessary, it was fun to get the first snowshoe hike of the year in. The traverse from Starr King to Waumbek was snowshoe worthy and I had a blast. |
