Comments
Comments: Trails were easy after the overnight refreeze. Temps in the twenties at trailhead but probably near 10-15F at the top. Used microspikes the entire trip, never used the snowshoes because the trail is firm and well packed all the way to Waumbek. No views today on Starr King as we were in clouds all day with light snow. Things will change Thursday as we get snow from the next storm. Saw a total of 15 people today - busy for a winter hike!
