|
| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Flume visitor center lot is plowed, very busy with snowmobilers. |
|
| Surface Conditions: |
Snow - Packed Powder/Loose Granular, Snow - Unpacked Powder |
|
| Recommended Equipment: |
Snowshoes |
|
| Water Crossing Notes: |
Unbridged crossings are all easy stepovers. One two-log bridge really isn't wide enough for snowshoes, and you should face sideways and sidle across. |

| Comments: |
Trail is broken all the way to the summit by a couple of dozen snowshoers since the storm ended. Still recommend snow shoes, as it is still somewhat lose and slippery. Saw several people w/just micros or barebooting late in the afternoon, and they were slipping a lot.
Indian Head Trail was NOT broken out at the junction. |
