Comments
Comments: Hiked Pack Monadnock from the west via the Raymond Trail. The longest trail of the three to the summit of the mountain, at 1.6 miles. First half is casual, then you go through two fairly steep rocky inclines and then it's a gradual incline to summit. It was cool at the base of the mountain in the morning around 10:00. Once you got past two rocky sections you could feel the wind a lot more. Today's wind was still pretty strong from the pass of the Nor'easter, especially at the summit. First half of the day while we hiked it was sunny and pretty warm. After we descended and were going home dark clouds rolled over and covered the area.
