| Dog-Related Notes: |
Isis had a great winter walk. The 4K's in Winter can be challenging for dogs. Be mindful of temps, snow balling, and fatigue. Mount Starr King Trail is relatively easy for dogs. Please know your trail etiquette too... No one really likes to be rushed by off leash dogs. Make sure they can be recalled. |

| Comments: |
Kicked off 2017 with a great snowshoe hike to Mount Starr King. Easy trails with packed powder although the upper trails are getting blown in from the gusts today. One crawl under blow down to deal with as well. Always enjoy this hike and will be back again as I keep getting stronger. Happy New Year Hikers... May you HYOH and reach all your goals. |
