 | Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Success pond road had about 5 in or snow over ice when we drove. It was well packed on the way out. We had all wheel drive, could be tough without.
We parked at a wide spot about 0.1mi east of the start. |

 | Comments: |
The trail had not seen any recent travel. Trail breaking was manageable down low with only about a foot on a base. Higher up, snow depths increased to 18in with high drifts. Drifts were especially high on the AT. There is a tough pitch on the AT with ice flows, we were able to do it in snowshoes with care. We also broke out the outlook spur for a great view. Anyone headed up soon should have an easy time in our tracks. |
