Comments
Comments: Well i have gone up on the chippewa trail in the spring so came back for this side now. Suzanne has not been up Black before and we decided on this peak for the day. Surprisingly decent day. It only misted a little rain for a few minutes on the way down. But other than that we were dry :) we both used microspikes as only microspikes have been on this trail it looked like. There was all snow cover but very little amount, no postholing, about 3-5" of a packed route. Moosilauke was in the clouds at the peak but we could see everything else. Chippewa trail was broken out that I saw too.
