| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Trail was in great packed shape, microspikes were all that was needed, all the way to the summits. Many people were using those sleds to come down, plastic with a handle, making the trail smooth for people coming down, could be slippery. People don't realize that those sleds don't count if you are bagging the 48, can only go on FOOT. You can read this in the White Mountain Guides. |

| Dog-Related Notes: |
I love dogs but not on the trails. A lot of poop left on the trail towards the beginning of the hike. Can't you at least throw it off the trail? |

| Comments: |
Beautiful hiking day. Minus seven to start in the parking lot, +5 at the summit, 17 degrees when we got back to the lot. Absolutely NO WIND AT ALL, so we were plenty warm. Even on a summer hike I have never hiked with no breeze at the summit. |
