Comments
Comments: Trail is well packed from the parking lot all the way up to the peak. Microspikes work well up to Mt. Surprise in the hard frozen pack where there are still a few roots and rocks. Use snowshoes above Surprise to avoid potholing the trails. Very little ice even on the 2-3 really steep parts above Mt Surprise. Numerous butt sliding opportunities on the way back.
