Comments
Comments: We started at 8:15 a.m. and it was -5 at the trailhead. The trail was broken nicely. Snoeshoes were not really needed unless you prefer them. We had microspikes and those were sufficient traction without postholing. After the cabin to the summit and beyond is when you would want snoeshoes for sure. We only went as far as the summit so I cannot comment on the loop to the Bulge and the Horn. We only ran into a group of 3 all day and they were coming down at about 11a.m.
