Until the next storm you can snowshoe or light traction the loop depending on your preference. If wearing snowshoes, it's a little bony between Lincoln and Little Haystack but other than that the trails are good for snowshoeing. If wearing light traction, there are the usual wind drifts between Lafayette and Lincoln but not to any extent that you'd need to change into snowshoes. Other than that, the steep little snowfield is forming about a quarter mile below Lafayette's summit but the snow is still in good shape to easily motor up and down with care. |
