| Comments: |
Trails were in great condition. Made it up and down with a combination of microspikes and barebooting (down low). Traction required above treeline as there is significant ice. Met a group of 3 skiers who started at ravine lodge, carriage road seems to be in great skiing condition (on par with anything you'd find at the resorts with this warm spell last week), hard pack on the entire carriage road with just a trace of powder. Snapper Ski trail requires a bit more skill to make it down to the lodge, but the group pulled it off. |
