Really nice trail through open hardwoods, upper section winds through pretty evergreen sections. Several ledgy views of
southern white mts. and squam lake. Very minor ice under the snow in a few sections. Microspikes were perfect the entire
way. It was as good/easy as winter hiking gets...nice filled in packed powder trail, you could actually look around and enjoy
the views and the forest while walking!
