| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
One may not even want to do this hike due to current poor parking. I was taking up an uncomfortable amount of space along Cawper road in Wolfeboro. The snowbanks are high and there is no extra space plowed out. |
| Surface Conditions: |
Snow - Packed Powder/Loose Granular, Snow - Unpacked Powder |
| Recommended Equipment: |
Snowshoes |
| Water Crossing Notes: |
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Blowdowns have been cleared since I was up in the fall. Blazing is good, but I still lost the trail due to deep snow and nightfall. |
| Dog-Related Notes: |
Kona's first walk during my week of dog sitting. He seemed to like it. |

| Comments: |
The trail was unbroken will over a foot of powder on a consolidated base. A small portion coincides with a snowmobile trail. I missed the trail and cut a few corners, due to snow coverage, white blazes, and it being dark. Register said someone was up on the 5th though I did not detect their tracks. |
