Trail Maintenance Notes: There are snarls of blowdowns, mainly between Liberty and Flume and Liberty and Little Haystack - I had my saw, but I wouldn't be home right now if I cut every one.

Dog-Related Notes: Gryffin had fun. Some deep snow pockets had him doing the doggie paddle.

Comments: If you are just doing a two-peaker (either common pair), then microspikes are enough (assuming it remains below freezing.) If you feel like crossing between Little Haystack and Liberty, I'd bring snowshoes.
