Comments
Comments: After an unsuccessful attempt at Mount Tom, we shifted our focus to Mount Willard. Easy water crossings. The wet snow and standing water had frozen overnight. Microspikes on the monorail was fine. It was easily identified as there were post holes down both sides. Didn't break through once. Plenty of others on the trail - everyone was in microspikes or snowshoes. Great views at the top. Happy to make something of the wonderful day after getting stopped on Mount Tom
