Comments
Comments: Ascended via trails to just past height of land in Carrigain Notch, then angled up to Lowell, avoiding most of the slides due to falling snow and ice. Decided not to bother with Anderson at that point due to winds and poorer than expected weather. Dropped down on the other side of the mountain in search of Duck Pond - very nasty woods throughout, until reaching hardwoods in lower elevations. Blowdown, thick spruce, unstable ground, etc. Eventually landed on a decent logging road and followed it back to Signal Ridge Trail prior to Carrigain Notch junction.
