several step-over blowdowns, branches hanging in the trail at higher elevations due to snowpack |

A few false trails have been made in the dip after Mt. Surprise. I think the true trail was obscured by fresh powder and wind despite being broken out a day or two ago by someone else. I used GPS to find the way here and found the trail broken out again a short while later.
Used snowshoes the whole trip. |
