Started with bareboots and carrying snowshoes but soon became apparent that snowshoes wouldn't be needed so I stashed them at the loop junction. Bareboots up to the East Ledges where I threw on Micros for added purchase. Some short stretches where the trail was drifted in 3-6 inches but never deep enough to want the shoes back. Beautiful afternoon, clear skies and views in all directions. |
