| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
I was the only one on trail today so parked at end of Starr King Rd. The owner was very kind but mentioned the lot is on Rte 2 across from Starr King Rd. Note, there is a sign at this lot stating it's for snowmobilers only but I'm not sure that is legitimate. Owner was unaware and the sign from the road says "Trail Parking" & said she would look into this. |

| Comments: |
The trail is fairly well packed until 2600' of elevation. It then vacillates between packed and soft snow so snowshoes are recommended. The trail between Starr King & Waumbek is soft snow with drifts. Just beyond Starr King, there are 2 sets of tracks; bear right for the trail to Waumbek. |
