Trail is bare-bootable, but I chose to use microspikes. The lower sections are very chewed up by postholes but still firm enough to walk on. The snow rapidly diminishes once on the exposed rocky ridge. From the last lookout until the summit, the trail is firm, deep snow and very easy to walk on. |
