Comments
Comments: We used Microspikes which was the best compromise. There was a semblance of a monorail the whole way up although difficult to stay on. Some bare patches starting out but higher up was mostly deep snow. Looked like no one had hiked it since last weekend. Trail was not hard to follow. At the summit we were joined by two other people, bare booting. Coming down after 1:00 snow was getting soft & slippery and the 5 of us were postholing somewhat and making big heel marks which destroyed a lot of the monorail. So start early when the snow is still a little frozen.
