Comments
Comments: Mt Randolph North Peak at 3097’ on the NH 200 Highest List and Randolph North at 3081’ on the NH 3000-Footer List.

We started at the new parking lot at the end of Randolph Hill Rd. Headed west down snow covered “dirt” road. We took the 1st first fork onto another heading NNW, as we turned west we decided it was time to start bushwhacking NW and pick up the Mt Crescent Ridge Trail.

Lot of nice woods and moose activity along the way. We followed this trail for an 1/2 mile or so to 2800 ft, jumped off trail to pick up the ridge of North Peak. Again, nice woods and lots of moose activity. Found the recognized high point and headed SE toward the cal between the next bump and then south to the cal before Mt Randolph and up to recognized high point. Little bit less moose activity but still nice woods.

Headed north on the Mt Crescent trail and very soon jumped off dropping east crossing several streams in nice open woods, picking up some older logging road to the Carlton Notch Trail and back to the car. Really nice day with Hike this Mary, Rick and Lisa.
