An afternoon loop along trails which meander along the Contoocook River, and connect to Mast Yard State Forest. Mostly flat walking through interesting forest abutting the river, then along the banks. The southern end of the loop has a small beach and picnic area. The northern end connects to Mast Yard via a foot / snowmobile bridge over the river that used to be a railroad trestle. Spotted a beaver swimming in the river. :)
