Bugs
Bugs: Black flies were actually kind of bad at the summit of Pack and at the northern WT parking area upon our return. I don't recall them being out this early. :P

Comments
Comments: A wet, misty and muddy south to north traverse with a Meetup group of six.

Trails were wet and very muddy in places with standing water. Ledges and the rocky terrain of this route were slick, and a few members of our group took some minor falls. Pack was in a cloud when we got there, but things had cleared a bit by the time we reached the cliffs on North Pack, then the fog rolled in again. Many thousands of snow fleas are in a puddle at the North Pack summit cairn. Kind of weird to see them moving around but cool at the same time.

I hadn't done this route in a while outside of winter and forgotten how rugged it is in places. A good workout!
