i parked on old wolfeboro road in alton southwest of the peak and south of the access road. the access road to the tower is gated, but not posted against foot traffic though the entire propery line north of the road is notably posted. there was no good parking at the start of the access road, but a good shoulder not too far south. |

it is a quick walk up the access road to the communication tower site. from there it is a short open bushwhack to the highpoint marked by a cairn. all the land north of this route right up to the summit is privately posted. i descended the same way. |
