| Comments: |
Took Parker Trail to Cliff Walk, then up Smith Connector to Bald Rock. Amphitheatre up to White Arrow to summit. White Cross down.
Trails up were in decent shape, with muddy conditions prevailing. White Cross coming down had lots of water on it (standing/running) and a significantly larger amount of mud on the trail. Tons of people out on the mountain today, however only passed one other person from start of hike to Bald Rock.
Some of the lesser traveled trails on this mountain will make for some great warmup hikes to get back to being used to spring/summer conditions in the Whites. |
