Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: There was a dog who lives on the Randolph Hill Rd just west of Grassy Lane who had gotten loose and stopped me in my tracks with barking, growling, and threatening behavior. Comments
Comments: Great day for wildlife and flowers: A large porcupine at Lookout Ledge, a loon on Pond of Safety, and heard and saw a pileated woodpecker on gravel road leaving Pond of Safety. Lots of trout lily and spring beauty in bloom. Quite a few purple trillium and false hellebore with cameo appearance by a painted trillium and some dutchmen's breeches.
