Comments
Comments: spongy conditions, but nice woods most of the way. above 2500ft. there were patches of snow. after a good search, I found brian's jar. this is after failing to do so last year. HOORAY! I made a brief look for the "other" jar but didn't find it. tough going on the summit with some thickness and lots of patches of 2 feet deep snow. it discouraged me from an extensive look for that other jar. when I arrived back at the car, I was greeted by a border patrol guy! somebody reported a "suspicious" car. what luck I have sometimes! he was a good guy though.
