Comments
Comments: Ascending Air Line, the microspikes could have come on after the intersection with the Scar Trail, and definitely should be donned above treeline on the ridge. Above the Hut, it looked like somebody had hosed down the rocks and let it freeze -- pretty tedious and slow and potentially dangerous. Crampons may not have helped much since the ice layer was thin.
