parked in front of Bretton Woods Lodge and office. Followed maintenance road to Candy store and continued to upper lift and summit directly behind lift. Hiked back to Candy store and found marked trail to Oscar. Walked around on rocky summit, found climbing ropes and took in spectacular views of Hale and Zealand Valley. Fran and I had out lunch in the Cog Railway car found just below summit. Returned to parking lot via ski slopes off of summit chair on West Summit (Oscar) |
