Comments
Comments: Took the Shoo to about 3k' (at the shoulder) and whacked to Big Bickford. Many fine birch glades w/ much Moose poop. A few views of LaFayette and Cannon on the ascent. Then bushwhacked to Scarface. Both peaks have registers, the one of Scarface dating back to 2010. More popular than you might think. Bushwhacked from Scarface to near the wooden bridge on the old trail. Took Skoo to lot where the rain just was starting. A good combo of trails and bushwhacks which develop a sense of the whole landscape.
