Comments
Comments: We started following this spur road east for a few hundred yards and started bushwhacking at about 2550 ft in older clear cuts, herd paths and so on with lots of moose sign. At about 2700 ft Lisa found an antler and soon after I found a moose skull and jaw bones while heading east over a pud. About 2900 feet we started hitting some thicker stuff here and there as we slabbed the NW bump of NW Crystal.

We dropped down SE to the cal between and things opened nice and started the finial 200 ft ascent to the summit. This ¼ mile, 200 ft climb was thick and nasty with lots of blow downs. We hit the summit and celebrated our finish of the NH 200 Highest & NH 3000-Footer List with shots of patron tequila.

Not wanting to hit that thick and nasty stuff again we jumped off the summit heading north dropping a few hundred feet ins some nice open woods where Mary and I each found another moose skull and bones. We then set off west back to that same cal and ended up picking up the spur road back to the car.

Another great adventure with Mary, Rick and Lisa
