Hiking Trail Conditions Report
Peaks
Peaks Caverly Mountain, NH
Trails
Trails: Caverly Mountain Loop, old woods roads, bushwhack.
Date of Hike
Date of Hike: Saturday, November 13, 2010
Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Caverly Rd., which is usally gated, is open at both ends. I wussed out and parked at the east end, on Kings Highway, anyway. I met a local who drove the whole Road last week in his own Outback, just because it is rare for it to be ungated, He wouldn't do it again - some real rough patches.

Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: The regular route is all ATV trails. On my descent, I avoided a good bit of that by old woods roads and a short bushwahack just north of the summit. See my GPS track.

Comments
Comments: I met a couple near the summit who were surprised to meet another hiker there. They were very impressed that I knew the proprietor of FranklinSites, which is how they discovered Caverly, even though they live not far from there.
