Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Other than a couple of stepovers on Arethusa-Ripley Falls Trail and Saco River Trail, trails mostly in good shape, and well blazed (perhaps overly so in the case of Saco River and Maggie's Run (and Extension). Quite a bit of small branches down in the trails, flicked aside as many as I could.

Bugs: Negligible, the cool temps and breeze kept them from being an issue.

Comments
Comments: Got out for a fun, challenging ~8 mile loop, visiting some of the excellent falls in lower Crawford Notch, before showers were forecast to come through. Other than at the various falls and trailheads, I saw no one on any of the other trails. Variable trail conditions kept things interesting throughout. A nice quiet hike/run on this cool and partly sunny day!
