Series of aging bog bridges are pretty bad shape, day of hike was mist and sprinkles, many of the boards are at angle, extremely slippery particularly on descent |

| Comments: |
Nice trail down low, except for condition of the bog bridges at upper end. Upper slopes are predominately birch/hobblebush forest. Many huge birch trees noted. Bushwhack to peak was moderately easy, I encountered patches of dead fall, but all of them were easily bypassed, spruce forest was relatively open for most part. Return to trail didn't go so well since I left summit after 7:00 pm and light was fading fast due to clouds and fog. Had to break out headlamp to read the compass by. |
