Nice gem of a hike. Footing rough and steep about a 1 and half miles in to the first outlook(about 2000 feet).Have to be careful on way down. After the outlook mostly rock slab and ledge but with great views especially coming down. Summit of both South and Middle Moat very windy but spectacular 360 degree views. Hike from South Moat to Middle Moat very nice and easy. |
