Comments
Comments: Bushwhack, Dry on whack to N. Peak, wet and muddy on skidder paths and moose paths going to W. Blue

From Rt.3N in Columbia took Washburn Rd. on right, adjacent to variety store. Followed Washburn Rd.(logging rd.) to closed gate. Parked here and walked a well maintained logging road to Cleveland Pass. At top of pass followed old logging road and then began bushwhack to summit of Blue N. Back tracked back to logging road, retracing tract to another logging road where we began climb to W. Blue. Jumped into woods following track partially along abandoned skidder paths and moose tracks to reach summit of W. Blue. A beautiful sunny day for Fran, Reuben and I. The wild flowers along the logging road were beautiful and wild strawberries were plentiful.
