Comments
Comments: The Howker Ridge Trail had good footing for most of the way, although it was overgrown and lightly trodden in spots, with a few really wet areas. Osgood Trail was rocky and dry, as per usual. Valley Way, at least to the Randolph Path junction, was a mix of wet and dry ground, with some running water in places. The Randolph Path was lightly trodden for most of the part we took. Needless to say, this loop can be followed easily by experienced hikers. We had the entire Howker Ridge Trail to ourselves, and didn't see anyone until we hit the Osgood Trail. Cold and socked in at the summit, but there were good views near and at/from the hut. Happy birthday, USA!

Thanks to Nick D. for a fun hike!
