| Comments: |
We started up the cascades and continued a little too far when we leveled off putting our track a bit too far south of the ridge. We got into some nasty pencil pine followed by a Christmas tree farm finally breaking out into a relatively open slope. Once we got near the height of land we found the recognized high point fairly quickly considering the several bumps it could have been on. We backtracked through open woods and then stayed more North from out inbound track and hit the top of the cascades. |
