Road to Ravine Lodge to the start of Gorge Brook Trail is currently closed to vehicles for construction. This added about 0.85 mile walk on the road to the trail head each way. RT distance totaled 9 miles. |

All water crossings had well-made bridges going over them. |

Work installing some water bars was being done by trail crews on Carriage Road |

Good hike for dogs. My two made it up without any issues. |

Not too many bugs around today. |

| Lost and Found: |
Car key found and left on a post at the parking area. |

| Comments: |
Foggy/Drizzly day made for no views at the summit and probably also the reason we saw so few people on the trail today. Windy and chilly up top. There were only two other groups at the summit. |
