Comments
Comments: The Mt Parker trail gets light use but has 3 major viewpoints with fine views of Mt Washington, Crawford Notch, and Carter Dome, and many other summits. Mt Parker affords about a 300 degree viewpoint. Mt Resolution has excellent views to the west and down into Crawford Notch. Also, at the south end of Mt Resolution a small side path/herd path leads west a hundred yards to an impressive granite ledge with 360 degree views. The side trail must be followed with care, but is short and gets you there quickly. The hike to Mts Parker & Resolution and back was about 13 miles, and 3,700 ft of vertical. Not bad for a pair of less than 4k summits!
