Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Salmon - From Rte 3 north after 2nd CT Lake, went right on East Inlet Road and after bridge turned left on to Scott Bog Road and then took the right turn about 2 miles in and drove another 2 miles to a culvert that was very exposed and cracked. Decided not to cross and it looks like continuing would not have provided any advantage toward the peak anyway. Parked our truck along the side of the road a hundred feet back and started the whack from there.

Comments
Comments: Salmon - From the parking area we headed straight to the summit through fairly open woods with patches of ferns and low hobble bush. The herd paths were plentiful and very helpful. Approaching the summit we ran into one path that seemed more like a trail running right by the summit and leading directly to the boundary swath a few hundred feet beyond. We thought this could potentially be a trail from the East Inlet Road side of the mountain. After visiting the swath for views we followed our same track back without any problems.
