Comments
Comments: Trail is mostly dry from the lot to Starr King. Between Starr King and Waumbek there are some muddy spots, but easily avoided. Nice hike, most of the vertical takes place in the first mile and a half, starts to level off at the evergreen transtion. Some rocks, but not many. Views to the presidentials from Starr King. No view from Waumbek proper, but travel 100 feet past the peak down the Kilkenny Trail, and there is a nice view to the right of the presidentials.
