First hike after getting hurt in early July. Went up Winslow Tr. down Barlow Tr. Found Winslow Tr which gains 1100 feet in 1.1 miles not as steep as advertised. There are steep short sections followed by short gradual sections. Gives your legs a chance to decompress. Very rocky and rooty. A little windy and cool at top. Annoying solar generator whine up top.Barlow Tr. goes down steeply on granite slabs with awesome views. |
