Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: the two crossings on the Carter Dome Trail were easy. Water was low.  
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: No problems to report. Some water bars on Carter Dome seemed to be new, but I have not been on this trail in non-snow seasons for a while.  
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: I had an unpleasant encounter with a dog who did not seem happy to see me.

Lost and Found: If the couple who were heading up to the Carter Notch hut who helped me search are reading this, I did find the glasses I had (temporarily) lost. Thanks for your help!

Comments: A pleasant day on the trails. Not too many day hikers out. (I saw as many AT through hikers as day hikers.) I am guessing most people opted to get out Saturday for the Flags.
