Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Easy step overs. One, rock hopped.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Not sure what the trail looks like from Slippery Brook Road to the parking lot at the end of Est Branch Road as this is no longer being maintained and is abandoned by the Forest Service. We started on EBT at he parking lot and it is in good shape for as long as it follows the old railroad bed. Beyond, where it leaves the brook there are a few blowdowns to step over or around.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Lots of clean water for our 4-legged friends on this one.
Bugs
Bugs: No significant amount.

Comments
Comments: We hiked up the EBT until we were due West of Chandler, dumped our heavy packs for the overnight stay and then whacked on a straight line to the summit. Woods were mostly open and any fir bans were easily avoided without much deviation from our planned track. Reached the recognized summit to experience fine views of the Sable, Eastman and North Baldface. We retraced our track back to the trail to pick up our packs and headed north again to find a suitable camp sight for the night.
